about

even though i ripped the idea of this sort of name change right from sdf, they ripped it from will oldham so it's fine. there was another band named apparitionist, so i decided to change it, as one should. plus, it didn't really fit as well for what i do. and just for fun, i figured i would do what self defense and will did and combine the two, in between changes. anyway, this EP was made during the creation of the LP, with these basically being songs that knowingly wouldn't fit the flow of the LP, so they ended up here. been jamming a ton of self defense family lately, so these tracks definitely have that sort of feel but i tried not to rip them off blatantly. as for differences between earlier material, the second track has the first time i ever really focused on traditionally singing since it's probably the most melodic thing i've done up to this point. hope you enjoy listening to the EP, like and subscribe. this probably sounds like the cover, winter is cold.
