the first release i (nixon) am on where the name is changed to sensory deprivation. this split has been an idea of ours for a few months, but it was really only over january that we decided to actually get on it. the two sound collages i contributed have existed for some time now, and were actually going to be on other EPs but i figured they'd work better here since ASD is more ambient/electronic anyway. each side should be about 6-8 minutes long, so it's about a mini-album's length. i don't really have much else to say, so enjoy this EP and expect more from both projects. also make sure to check sugary sweet machines (another ASD project) and dry satire (nixon on drums).

"really interesting soundscapes and a very tense atmosphere."- final origin
"people who hate this are people who listen to Young Thug and Eminem. Fact"- itchy
"Sensory Deprivation [...] it’s even perhaps the best material he has created yet, and shows a potentially new direction that he could explore. A Slow Descent uses his time wisely by including two tracks that not only go back to his spacey roots, but explore new territory and sounds as well. 4/5"- fripp
